The trends for spring/summer 2008 suggest a season dominated by simplicity and minimalism. These are the findings of the Trend Research Center of Pratotrade, surveyed on the occasion of Up To Date Collection, the event on the latest news in fabrics for spring/summer 2008 and fall/winter 2008-2009 organized by the consortium of Prato's textile industries.

Innovation, proposal, information are just a few of the objectives of Up To Date Collection – to be held from October 18 to 19 at the Stazione Leopolda Exhibition Center in Florence.
The event, created to present the latest flash proposal in fabrics for spring/summer 2008 and updates on the connections for fall/winter 2008-2009, provides an additional service for the textile and apparel market. 37 brands, the exhibitors coming from the Prato area and northern Italy.
